MFuge is a camp designed to give students a mission experience that opens their eyes to similar opportunities they may have to serve in their own communities, learning to live life each day on mission! Students are divided into ministry tracks / small groups comprised of other students from various churches. These groups will spend the week at a particular ministry site participating in various activities such as evangelism, special needs care, painting, construction, yard work, children’s ministry, and more. These groups will also participate together in small group Bible study led by a FUGE staffer.
In the evenings, all students (nearly 1200 total) will worship together. Jarod Espy will be our worship leader for the week, and our camp pastor is Jody Jennings. Following evening worship, Eastmont students will meet together to discuss the day and dig deeper into God’s Word together.
Cost: $300 per person (minus monies raised through pecan sales and other fundraising efforts of the Student Ministry)
Lodging: The campus of North Greenville University is the host site for this particular MFUGE. Our students will stay in campus dorms in groups of two.
Meals: Students and chaperones will eat most meals at the university’s cafeteria. Daily lunches, however, will be provided at each person’s mission site.
Camp Theme: DWELL The relationship between God and man was broken by sin but has been restored through Christ. Because of this, we can draw near to God, enjoy fellowship and relationship with Him and experience His ultimate peace and rest. In our culture, we have so much seeking to grab our attention (phones, social media, and social expectations). Along with the pressures of school and other activities, we often find ourselves overwhelmed, drained and feeling empty. Join us for FUGE Camps 2020 as we discover how to DWELL with God, rest in His presence, push past distractions and focus on His peace. Spending time with the Lord changes everything.
