Dates: June 20-25, 2022
Cost: $300 per person (minus monies raised through our pecan sales and other fundraising efforts of the Student Ministry)
MFUGE: MFuge is a camp designed to give students a mission trip experience that opens their eyes to similar opportunities they may have to serve in their own communities, learning to live life each day on mission! Students are divided into ministry tracks / small groups comprised of other students from various churches. These groups will spend the week at a particular ministry site participating in various activities such as evangelism, special needs care, painting, construction, yardwork, children’s ministry, and more. These groups will also participate together in small group Bible study led by a FUGE staffer.
In the evenings, all students from all 700+ students from the participating churches worship together. Daniel Floring is our worship leader for the week, and our camp pastor is Stephen Dervan. Following each evening worship, Eastmont students will meet to discuss the day and dig deeper into God’s Word together.
Lodging: The campus of Mississippi College is the host site for this particular MFUGE. Our students will stay in campus dorms in rooms of two. Beds are extra-long, twin size mattresses.
Meals: Students and chaperones will eat most meals at the college cafeteria. Daily lunches, however, will be provided at each person’s mission site.
Camp Theme: MATCHLESS ONE
The Bible is filled with stories of ordinary people God used in extraordinary ways to teach character and truth. Through Isaac’s life, we learn about sacrifice. Joseph’s life shows us the hard-fought beauty of forgiveness and reconciliation. Abraham’s story teaches us about obedience and forgiveness. From Esther, we learn how to be bold and courageous and take risks. One person in Scripture is the full and complete embodiment of every good trait any other character ever displayed – Jesus. He is the MATCHLESS ONE. Join us for FUGE Camps 2022 as we study the lives of these well-known Old Testament characters and see the story of Jesus foreshadowed in their lives.
