Come be a part of this big day in the life of Eastmont! We will have an opportunity to come together as a church family and then go out to serve our community. A Day of Service is an event that will provide our faith family with projects to work on together in an effort to love our community and to demonstrate the love of Jesus.
Most people will meet at the church at 9:00 am to gather with their work group, be commissioned, and then head out to their sites. Groups will meet back at the church by 12:30 for lunch, and to share with each other about their projects.
There is a way for anyone to be involved in A Day of Service. There are projects for men, women, children, and families. There are projects suitable for children and there are projects suitable for senior adults. Most projects will take place off site, but there a few that will take place at the church.
