D-Now is an annual event joining 7th-12th grade students from across the River Region for a weekend of worship & discipleship. This year’s theme is REVEALED. Teaching will center around the character of God as He is revealed through Scripture. Eastmont will host this year’s event drawing together students from other area churches for three worship services. Services take place Friday evening, Saturday morning, and Saturday evening. In addition to the worship services, there are small group study sessions unpacking the theme for the weekend. Small groups are separated by school grade and by gender and are led by college students, young adults selected and screened by Cleve.
In previous years, small groups lodged at the homes of Eastmont members. This year, in light of COVID, we feel it most wise to forego the host homes and have students return to their own homes on Friday and Saturday nights.
On Saturday, students will remain at Eastmont for their small group studies and various ministry, work projects. Each project has been selected by the student pastor and student ministry leaders and serves to meet specific needs in the River Region and at Eastmont.
