Ty joined the Eastmont family in 2021. Ty was a resident of seven different states before coming to Alabama, but claims Georgia as his home. He holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Georgia and a Masters of Divinity in Educational Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before joining Eastmont, Ty served in children’s ministry while in college and as a camp pastor for multiple summers for CentriKid Camps. Ty and his wife, Michaela, were married in 2021. Michaela is a geometry teacher at Wetumpka High School. Ty has a passion for partnering with parents to help kids build a Biblical worldview and see Jesus for Who He is. Ty is a huge sports fan who watches almost anything is on ESPN, but he specifically loves the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, and Atlanta Hawks
