Local Missions
Local mission projects, ministries and outreach programs give us an opportunity to share the Gospel in a different setting from Sunday Worship.

1J2 Ministries
Goal & Purpose : To share the Gospel with neighboring children and families near Eastmont Baptist Church through Once-A-Month Week-Long Summer Clubs so that relationships may be built which lead to Salvation, Ministry, and Discipleship with the body of believers at Eastmont Baptist or other Bible-believing churches. We also strive to provide spiritual nourishment and revival in our church and city through Worship & Teaching each night of Clubs to keep up the enthusiasm of 1J2 Ministries. Relationships with families will be built that will open doors to further witnessing & ministering from the Ministers & church members of Eastmont as well as allowing invitations to join our church body in worship, program participation, and membership. 1 John 2:2 “He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins, and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.”

S.O.S. Ministries
Since S.O.S.’ start at Eastmont in 2013, we have seen thousands locally & regionally come to Christ using this method through on-site church events such as Eastmont’s Spring & Fall Yard Sales, Trunk or Treat and Children’s Christmas Festival and with off-site events such as The Alabama National Fair, Spring & Fall NASCAR races at Talladega, ENFEUGO Christian concert in Verbena, AL and in partnership with Alabama State Board of Missions (ALSBOM). Contact Dale Brown at 334-590-1154 or alabamaservingoursavior@gmail.com
to plug into this ministry as a soul winner (training provided), set up/take down, prayer warrior, providing donations or helping with follow up!

Local Projects
All ministry groups participate in local mission projects; but we also have church-wide mission projects like the EBC Family Jamboree (a community event featuring kickball games, kid’s activities, concessions & more). Our other local mission projects include: youth helping with yard work for the elderly, the single adults baking cookies for a local community outreach program, a Rock-A-Thon (where the Sr. Adults rock in chairs to raise money for a local school), and many more.
National Missions
God has blessed us & that has enabled us to travel all around the state of Alabama & around the United States ministering to those in need & those who need to hear the Gospel.

Carpenters for Christ
Building together for the glory of God.
Goal 1: To build a church to reach, teach, minister, win people to Christ, and help persons to develop in Christ-likeness.
Goal 2: Build the fellowship of our men towards a greater relationship with God.

Alabama Raceway Ministries
Twice a year at Talladega Super Speedway we have an opportunity to share the Gospel, pray and help serve at over 8 campsites around the track, inside and on the infield. Over 200,000 fans come out twice a year (April & October). This is a great mission field to help so many who are hurting.

Women on Mission
WoM is a group of ladies that study, pray and do missions together. They meet once a month and there are several groups to choose from.
International Missions
God’s rich blessings coupled with modern technology has made it possible for Eastmont Mission teams to participate in the mission fields of Guatemala, Ukraine, Haiti, Romania and all around the world. On the mission field, team members are able to see and experience firsthand God working in the lives of people all over the world.

Operation Christmas Child
Also known as the Shoebox Ministry Operation Christmas Child is an annual ministry that takes place around November where people pack shoe boxes full of toys, amenities, socks, towels, etc. and they get shipped all over the world to a child for Christmas. This ministry’s mission is “to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.” For more information on Operation Christmas Child, visit their website.
