When you hear the term “business meeting,” what comes to mind? Sharing information, casting vision, effective communication, strategic planning? At Eastmont we hope that our business meetings will reflect all those aspects and more!
In an effort to use our time more wisely, to celebrate what the Lord is doing in and through Eastmont, and to allow more people to participate, we are restructuring how we handle business meetings. First, although we will address business matters, it will also be an opportunity for the church to hear about ministries, particularly from our pastoral staff. We expect this to have more of a “family meeting” feel.
Another transition you will see is that meetings will take place quarterly instead of monthly and will be held on Sunday evenings at 5:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall, followed by a special fellowship meal. Our first Family Meeting will be on Sunday, May 21st. Watch for more details and come celebrate with us
