A group of five ladies meets every Friday evening to read stories from the Word of God, pray, drink tea, and fellowship with one another. Two of these ladies are new believers that have come to faith in the past two years. A gathering of 20 pastors happens in the furthermost corner of our state for the purpose of training, equipping, and teaching them how to plant new churches among unreached people groups– populations of people among whom are no churches and no active gospel witnesses.
One evening a month, a local church in our city hosts an evangelism night in different popular spots around town with the purpose of sharing the gospel of Christ and building new relationships with those who have never heard the Good News. This evangelism initiative has come about as they study God’s Word with our team and seethe need for His name to be proclaimed among all peoples.
This is the type of work that is happening among South Asian believers where we live.
All of these opportunities are the result of slow, yet steady, growth in God’s Kingdom.All of these opportunities are a result of the work of the Spirit in the hearts of South Asians here. And all of these opportunities are a direct result of your faithfulness to support the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering (LMCO).
