Love in Action Serve Day

Fifty-five ladies from Eastmont came together on March 12th and were then sent out to serve in our community. This group included teens through senior adults and was a great picture of the Body of Christ working together. The following is a list of the sites and the service projects:

  • CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) – assembled blessing bags for kidsFriendship Mission – Devotional and craft with women in a homeless shelter.
  • Brantwood Children’s Home – St. Patrick’s Day party with residents
  • Love Loud Food Pantry – Cleaned and sorted donations
  • Community of Hope – Sorted and organized donations and made goody bags for
  • AHEPA – Played BINGO with senior adult residents
  • Homeless Mat Ministry – Made sleeping mats for homeless
  • Goodwyn Middle School – Cleaned the office and the library
  • Reality in Truth Ministries – Cleaned their new mission site
  • Easter Drama Closet – Cleaned out and organized costumes for Easter Drama
  • Love in Action Childcare – Provided childcare for those who went out to serve

Once projects were complete, the ladies gathered back together at the church to share their experiences and to enjoy lunch. Eastmont ladies, plan now to join us for our next Serve Day on August 27th!
