Walking Worthy Together

As we step into 2026, I am filled with gratitude and excitement for what God has already done and for what He is preparing to do next here at EBC. Scripture calls us to “walk worthy of the calling you have received” (Ephesians 4:1), and that invitation feels especially timely for our faith family.

This year will bring visible change. In late spring to early summer, we will begin the first phase of remodeling our facilities, stewarding the space God has entrusted to us. While walls may be updated (or moved) and rooms refreshed, our mission remains the same: to proclaim Jesus Christ as Savior and pursue Him as Lord.

Walking worthy in 2026 will require both bold faith and faithful obedience. We need bold faith to trust God as we move forward together—financially, prayerfully, and missionally. We need faithful obedience to continue doing what God has always honored: loving our neighbors, teaching the Word, serving one another, and sharing Christ wherever He has placed us.

This is not a year for spectators. It is a year for every member to see themselves as sent—sent to their workplace, their school, their street, and their circle of influence. As God strengthens our church home, may He also strengthen our witness. As we invest in this place, may we invest even more intentionally in people.

The opportunities before us are not accidental; they are assignments. If we walk worthy—rooted in Christ, united in purpose, and obedient in faith—He will do more than we can ask or imagine.

Let us step into 2026 with confidence—not in ourselves, but in the One who calls us and is faithful to complete His work.
