What Now?

What next?

This question has been on my mind and heart for a few weeks now. After all, we have Refresh & Renew, the 2026 budget,

the Quarterly Ministry Celebration, the holiday events and schedule, and other stuff that Karen will remind me of later.

Additionally, we have weekly worship services and Bible studies that require planning and preparation. So it makes sense

to ask the question, “What next?” Right?

That question seems obvious, but as we have been engaged in the Summit this week, my heart and mind are focused

more on the question, “What now?”

What now?

What now that God has spoken to us through His word?

What now that we’ve been confronted with truth and invited to respond?

What now that we’ve been called to seek Him with renewed passion and obedience?

I believe the “what now” question invites us to slow down long enough to let God’s Word take root. It’s not about the

next event or program—it’s about the next step of obedience. Revival doesn’t end when the Summit team leaves; it

actually begins as God’s people keep walking in humility, repentance, and faith day by day.

As we move forward into our Refresh & Renew campaign and prepare for upcoming ministry opportunities, let’s

remember that all of it only matters if we’re being refreshed and renewed by the Spirit of God. My prayer is that what

began this week will not fade, but will grow deeper as we continue to respond to the Lord together.

So, yes—we’ll still ask “What’s next?” in terms of calendars and plans. But let’s make sure that before we do, we’ve first

answered “What now?” in our hearts.

Let’s be a people who keep saying, “Lord, whatever You’ve shown us this week—help us to walk in it today.”

With gratitude and anticipation,

Frank

not bless you and this city as we walk with Him together!
